Small boat out at sea, Joseph sailing free
Throwing pots then hauling in, burning hours till light goes dim

Hard came the rain, black storm clouds again
His coat’s not long enough to keep him from the rain

Turning back to shore, hopes and seabirds soar
Walked into the Weymouth inn, looked around was she there for him

Her shadow on the wall, remembering her fall
All those years he’s dreamed alone, if he could pull her from the foam
